Cheryl Poulin, decorative artist, webmaster supreme and a very high energy generous woman decided that she would make Mental Health her focus for charitable work. And fortunately for PLEO, Cheryl selected PLEO as the recipient of all her activity. All of the funds raised through Cheryl's charitable work goes to support the Source and the Buzz, directly contributing to the recovery process of many young adults.

Her trusty sidekick in this adventure is Sylvia Smith well known to all of us in the field of mental health for her tireless work on many committees. She approaches our fundraisers with the organization reflective of her military background and with the humour of a wise person who knows that sometimes laughter is just the right medicine

But there are so many angels behind the scenes. Artists who have joined Cheryl's cause and who diligently paint decorations or make beautiful handmade greeting cards as well as other talents they share.

In 2009 we raised over $2500 through the Christmas sale of this donated artwork. Without this fundraising we just wouldn't be able to sustain the programs the way we do.

This years Christmas fundraiser 2010 raised a total of $1850.00. These funds will go towards supporting our programs, The Source and The Buzz, in the upcoming new year. Thanks to all those individuals that participated in our fundraiser and purchased many of the wonderfull donated works of art .

We would like to send a very special thank you out to our very energetic and positively inspiring mentor Cheryl Poulin of Earmark Studios in dunrobin for initiating this fundraiser and coordinating with so many fellow artists to make this happen. Also a special thanks to Sylvia Smith for all her coordination to make this happen. And to our board members who turned into sales experts!
