By now you will have heard the very good news we received this afternoon in the provincial budget announced by Finance Minister Dwight Duncan. A total investment of $257 million over three years was announced for children's mental health and addiction services. $76 million will be provided this year, $88 million in 2012/2013 and $93 million in 2013/2014.
It is anticipated that a significant portion of these dollars will go to the community-based sector.
