It is extremely challenging when your child is experiencing mental health issues; challenging and very emotionally painful. Most families report that they don't know where to turn. They are feeling pain and feeling isolated by what is happening to their child and their family.
The goal of the family support meetings is to share experiences and learnings and to help guide families new to the situation providing them with information and support.
If you or anyone you know is facing the challenge of dealing with mental health issues with their child, youth or young adult please feel free to join us or to tell your friend that we are here. Noone needs to be alone through this journey.
Feel free to come to the next meeting (check the calender on this website ) or you can leave a message at 613 321-3211 if you have questions or you can email us by using the form on the contact section of this site. Please understand that PLEO is volunteer driven and we do not answer the telephone but will return messages as soon as we can.
